Charity is a Cornerstone of Freemasonry
Freemasons are active in their communities - join us in building a brighter future for our community.
Freemasonry was founded by men sharing a commitment to supporting each other in friendship, fellowship and service to mankind. Since 1738, Nova Scotia men have found fulfillment as members of the fraternity, which still operates on the same core values.
Duke of Kent Lodge actively supports several charitable causes in the Spryfield area, notably Herring Cove Apartments (Shelter Nova Scotia) and the Food Bank at St. Paul's United Church as well as Emmanuel Anglican Church Food Bank.
Duke of Kent Lodge and its' members also actively participate in the various programs offered by the Masonic Foundation of Nova Scotia such as the Bursary program.
