Want to Join Freemasonry?
Freemasonry's custom is not to solicit members; in fact, recruiting is strictly forbidden. Anyone interested, however, should feel free to approach any Freemason to seek further information about the Craft.
Membership is for men, 21 years of age or older, who meet the qualifications and standards of character and reputation, who are of good moral character, and who believe in the existence of a supreme being.
All you have to do is knock.
A man who wants to join a lodge must request a petition from a Mason and be recommended by two Master Masons in good standing. He must understand that his character will be investigated. After approval by the members of that lodge, he will be accepted as an applicant for membership in Freemasonry.
Do not worry that you don't know two members from the Lodge. Simply email the Lodge by filling in the 'Contact the Secretary" form at the bottom of this page and tell us you are interested in joining or just want some information. Someone will arrange a meeting with you to answer all of your questions and to get to know you.
"Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest."
- Brother Samuel L. Clemens
